What you'll learn
- Dive into published research papers on prompting techniques and patterns
- Understand how to use variables to create reusable prompts
- Add structure to your prompts with XML tags (and understand why it works)
- Improve answers with Self-Consistency, ReAct, and other reasoning techniques
- Real-world case studies including the CRISPR prompting framework
- Learn various Tree of Thoughts styles that inspired reasoning models
In this course you'll explore advanced prompting techniques designed to give you more control over how AI models approach information, reasoning, and problem-solving. But this isn't fluff. You'll dive into the published AI research papers that discovered these techniques and understand how, and why, they work.
That includes exploring some of the weird and unexpected techniques that help improve AI accuracy, like emotional stimuli
You'll also dive into real-world case studies of complex prompting frameworks used in the real world.
By the end, you'll have a much deeper appreciation for how AI works, and a broader toolkit for designing prompts around the task at hand instead of relying on trial and error.
