Matt spent the first 5 years of his career in the health & fitness industry before learning how to code back in 2014.
Since then he has worked as a Frontend/JavaScript developer but left his full-time role at the end of 2020 to focus on his own company, Frontend Mentor. Frontend Mentor aims to help people improve their front-end coding skills by building projects in a real-life workflow.
Matt also works as a Lead Instructor at General Assembly, teaching the part-time Frontend Web Development Course, along with various workshops and bootcamps related to web development.
Matt is also a periodic guest instructor with us, sharing his experiences to help Zero To Mastery students learn the foundations of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
